In the Gallery Palz in Saarlouis the first exhibition in memoriam of James Rizzi in the Saarland takes place. The gallery presents original paintings, graphics and 3D art works of James Rizzi. A highlight are objects and art works directly from the New York SOHO loft of the artist.

In the Walentowski gallery “Udo Lindenberg & More” in Hamburg a selcetion of original paintings and handsigned prints will be presented from 06th – 31th of December 2012. A brand new series of new 3D artworks can be seen for the very first time in public.
The opening takes place on December 06th from 6 until 9 p.m..
On September 3rd the Tabaluga House in Duderstadt opened.The therapy center for traumatised children in the center of the town Duderstadt has been opened by the famous singer Peter Maffay and the major of Dudenstadt. James Rizzi supported the foundation of Peter Maffay and the symposium „Maffay Begegnungen“ for many years. Rizzi designed the logo of the symposium for the protection of childrens. The logo is a tree as symbol for the protection and respect of children and teeenager.
In front of the new Tabaluga House children designed together a wooden tree with papers, paintings and Rizzi-Birds. In similarity to Rizzis art children presented this colorful and lifely symbol to the public.
The limited sneaker collection of the artist James Rizzi, by FILA is now also available on the US market. „It’s not a shoe, it’s a Rizzi“ will be soon also a favorite dress for all super VIPs like Kanye West, Cindy Crawford and Miley Cyrus on the Hollywood hills. VIPs and all customers can buy now two designs of the limited, high quality sneaker collections in the hip store of Sportie LA. The shop can be found in the heart of Hollywood, in one of the popular shopping malls for celebrities, in the Melrose Avenue. Store manager Ellie Rahm is fascinated of the new shoes. „The design is hip and fresh. Also quality of the shoes is awesome.“

The first official exhibiton in memoriam for James Rizzi has been visited by nearly 14.000 visitors. The international art academy of Heimbach/Eifel had a growd of people especially on weekends. School classes, families and art travelers have been able to visit an unique exhibition with art pieces, which have never been shown before.
On sunday 17th of June the eshibition closed sucessfully.

James Rizzi hat immer davon geträumt, seine eigene Schuhkollektion mit seinen Figuren und Designs zu verwirklichen. Dass sein größter Traum nun wahr wird, ist zugleich eines der schönsten Vermächtnisse des Künstlers an uns. In den letzten Monaten vor seinem Ableben hat der Künstler an diesen Meisterwerken intensiv gearbeitet.
Herausgekommen sind dabei insgesamt sechs verschiedene Designs, die nun u.a. bei Deichmann erhältlich sind. Die limitierte Anzahl an Schuhen ist bereits jetzt gut nachgefragt. The art city guide and the practical city guide “My New York city” are almost sold. The 1st edition was bought within 3 months successfully in the German-speaking countries by Rizzi and NewYork fans. Order last city guides in our Onlineshop. Unfortunately you have to be patient until you will get the next edition, but the book is than also available in other languages.
