The Gutenbergfoyer had the optimal conditions with it´s 1000 m² exhibition space. Bright and spacious premises, with professional exhibition walls, provided as presentation area for about 1.000 unique works- such as sculptures, drawings, signed and limited graphics- and of course Rizzi´s distinct feature; the stereoscopic picture.
The friendly American artist James Rizzi presented himself to the visitors as approachable and down-to-earth as his art. Because of that, it is not surprising that the exhibition opening was crowded with Press and Media. Throughout Germany not only radio and newspapers but also numerously TV stations reported about the culturally highlight. The number of visitors increased steadily during the exhibition.
"We are happy about the great success of the Exhibition, which was attended by more than a 1000 visitors per day. We have been arranging Exhibitions in our facilities for years, but the James Rizzi Exhibition had the absolute record attendance", August Moderer, chief executive officer of CCM is glad to tell.
The Concept of CCM, to provide an offer appropriate for children, certified itself. The special program for children and teenager was part of the guided tours. About 150 classes attended at the Exhibition and about 12.000 children entered the colourful hustle and bustle at the Rheingoldhalle.
