School Projects - Junior High Mutschellen

"Bringing joy in the everyday life through colour"

Exibithion of the works of the 4. Realklassen of District School Mutschellen

"Totally Cool"
Since spring 2007 the pupils of the District School Mutschellen (KSM) altercated with the art of James Rizzi in the subject Arts and Crafts. The multicolored, three-dimensional pictures of the American artist resemble comic strips and appeal to the young people obviously. Anyhow the pupils involved think that the pictures of James Rizzi are "totally cool". With the guidance of the two teachers Monika Rindlisbacher and Silvia Di Pietro the kids developed some impressing work.

Visit to the gallery in Zurich
After an introduction to the life of the artist by the teachers, the pupils started to gather ideas for own pictures. The class 4a even ad hoc traveled to Zurich and visited the permanent exhibition of James Rizzi in the gallery Foxx. After the return the own visions were held in sketches immediately. Subsequently, it went to the conversion, whereby the size could be selected freely - only the use of felt pen, colored pencils or water colors and the three-dimensionality of the finished work were predetermined.
