Does anyone have any blue left?
“Does anyone have any blue left? I need more blue!” Vanessa sees her colour supplies shrink rapidly but the relieving news comes fast: “We still have a tube left.” At least this won’t hinder her finish her skyscraper painting. Together with her classmates at Albert Einstein Junior High, Vanessa is participating in the project: “James Rizzi style murals”.
Like a comic strip, happy and colourful
James Rizzi’s motives allude to his hometown New York City. His style reminds of comic strips that children are familiar with and above all, his pictures burst with a lust for life and optimism. This is why Mechthild Voßkamp, art teacher at Albert Einstein Junior High, had chosen James Rizzi as motto for her mural project.
“Nicer learning conditions”
The Rizzi project was part of a bigger one under the motto: “Nicer learning conditions”. For three days the complete building should be renovated and redesigned.
