Rizzi stamps for Deutsche Post
A premiere in two respects

Starting in February 2008:
The first two out of four stamps will be released. They were designed for Germany by the artist from New York, James Rizzi. That is remarkable in two respects: on the one hand, it is the first time that the world-famous Pop-art artist designed stamps; on the other hand, because there was never a stamp series published in Germany before, which was designed by a living artist of international rank like Rizzi.

4 Stamps and a set
There are four topics in which a complete set, stamps and sheets with ten stamps will be issued. In February it starts with " Herzlichen Glückwunsch" and " Alles Gute! " , followed at the beginning of May by " Danke" and the European stamp " Herzliche Grüße".

The first two stamps are available in every post office from 7 February 2008, optionally sold individual, or in sheets by ten, with an decorated lace, sketched by the artist.
