Fantastic structures from New York
The little Rizzi artists were allowed to manufacture New York skyscrapers, by drawing these first on a sheet paper in DIN A3-Format and then working on it with acrylic color. They made sure in particular that the houses looked colorful and happy. Some were serrated and others had mouth, nose and huge eyes.
To some of these houses the musicians among the participants invented small compositions. These were noted carefully and rehearsed on different instruments.
Three-dimensional experiences
Afterwards, the children began with small 3D-pictures, which had sizes about 15 x 10cm. Each participant selected a motive of James Rizzi or developed one their own. The motives drew then all with pencil on water color paper. Colored pencils or water-colors or also both together were used, in order to out-arrange the picture. Thereupon the finished picture was copied on drawing cardboard and parts cuted out. Then small pieces Kapa-pasteboard were stuck as spacer behind these parts, in order to let it step out when they were fastened on the original picture. In the end the work of art received a framework.
