Backstage - Fuggedaboudit!

What are the leading causes of mistakes?
It probably wouldn't be a mistake in somebody else's opinion. It's just when I do something that doesn't please my eye. It's the line, the line just didn't come out right, it's not perfect for my eye. If something doesn't have the perfect compositional balance that I'm looking for then it just bothers me too much to live with.

You do a lot of work when you are sitting around talking to friends, do you do work when you're watching TV?
Yes, I need noise.Whether it be the radio, television, stereo. Or a lot of people coming and going. In the very beginning, when I was a student, I lived with five other guys, so I was forced to work in a lot of noise, with a lot of stuff going on. I kinda liked it, I got used to it.

You think having stuff going on helps you concentrate, something that forces you to concentrate?
Yeah I do. I like life. When it's too quiet and too peaceful that just doesn't work for me. I need things going on. People coming and going, interruptions, whatever it is. I need activity.

Does what is going on in the room ever make it onto the picture?
No. I'm not really drawing about life, I'm making it up.
